Ohara (大原) is a small town in the mountains of Kyoto Prefecture. It is known for its beautiful temples, traditional houses, and stunning natural scenery.
Sanzen-in Temple, in particular, is considered one of the most important temples in Kyoto and is known for its beautiful moss-covered garden with many small Jizo statues.
