Shiodome (汐留) is a district located in the Minato ward of Tokyo, Japan. It is known for its modern architecture, high-end shopping, and entertainment options.
The area was once a busy railway terminal, but it was redeveloped in the 1990s into a modern commercial and residential district. Today, Shiodome is home to several high-rise buildings, including the Shiodome City Center, which houses offices, restaurants, and a shopping complex.
One of the most notable features of Shiodome is the Tokyo Tower, a 333-meter-high communications and observation tower that offers panoramic views of Tokyo from its observation deck. The tower is located in the neighboring district of Minato, but it can be easily accessed from Shiodome via public transportation.
Shiodome is also home to several other attractions, including the Hamarikyu Gardens, a traditional Japanese garden located on the edge of Tokyo Bay, and the Dentsu Building, a strikingly modern office tower that is known for its unique design.
