Aomori City (青森市) is the capital city of Aomori Prefecture in the Tohoku region of Japan. It is located in the northern part of Honshu, Japan’s main island, and is known for its beautiful nature, rich culture, and delicious food.

One of the most popular attractions in Aomori City is the Aomori Nebuta Matsuri, a spectacular summer festival featuring giant illuminated floats known as “nebuta”. During the festival, held every year in early August, the streets of Aomori City are filled with lively music and dancing as the nebuta floats parade through the city.

Another popular attraction in Aomori City is the Aomori Museum of Art, which features a collection of modern and contemporary Japanese art, including works by famous artists such as Yayoi Kusama and Hiroshi Sugimoto.
